MY STORY

My name is Lauren Herzog and I’m the Hillbilly Hair Painter. If you’re wondering where “The Hillbilly Hair Painter” came from, it’s a true reflection of who I am.

I was born and raised on a 183 acre farm in God’s country in Pennsylvania. My childhood was different from most, it involved shoveling shit, picking endless produce in the hot sun, bottle feeding the baby calves, washing turnips in the freezing cold, among other things. This is the farm that built me and I’m eternally grateful for it. Yes I can color hair like a bad bitch and YES I quite literally grew up in cow shit.

Every single day behind the chair I bust my ass to produce perfect results which I take so much pride in doing. I love to see you feeling confident and beautiful, I love creating, I love teaching, I love everything about my industry. I’m so grateful for all of it and it’s never taken for granted. Above all, I’m so grateful I get to have the best day ever, every day, with you. Thank you so much for being here.
